When you’re at Recovery by the Sea, you will feel cared for by addiction experts. We are one of Florida’s most trusted drug and alcohol rehab centers. We would be honored to be part of your recovery. Read on to see how our simple admissions process works.

Step One:

At Recovery by the Sea’s drug and alcohol rehab center the admissions process begins with your call. Our friendly admissions specialist will answer all your questions and explain program details. We get to know you by asking a few questions so we can begin to craft your unique personal profile. Your conversations with us are always confidential and protected under the HIPAA law. We can verify insurance benefits for you free of charge and usually get back to you within an hour or so. That way you’ll understand what our program offers and how we can work with your insurance plan (we are in-network with lots of insurances).

Step Two:

The second step is a phone interview and assessment. It usually takes about 15-20 minutes. During the assessment, we will ask some questions about your past experiences with treatment at any other drug and alcohol rehab centers. We will ask about previous mental health diagnoses and how the symptoms are affecting your everyday life. Honesty is the best policy of course. Do not worry! We promise you won’t shock or disappoint us. Most of us are in recovery ourselves and we’ve heard it all. The most important thing is that we know exactly what you’re up against. The more information and detail you can give us, the better we will be to help you. So don’t hold back. You are on your way to the best drug and alcohol rehab center in Stuart FL.

Step Three:

After your assessment is done, you can relax for a bit. We will be working hard on building a patient profile for you. If our clinical staff determines that Recovery by the Sea is a good fit for you, we can approve your admission and we can move ahead with scheduling your admission for alcohol and drug treatment in Stuart FL. If you are coming to us from outside the area, we will coordinate travel with you. We are close to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. There are also two other major airports (MIA and PBI) within an hour. Amtrak and Greyhound bus stations are also nearby for people who are unable to fly for any reason. That makes us easier to reach than almost any other Florida drug and alcohol rehab center.

With your travel plans in place, the next thing to do is pack for your stay with us. Be sure to check our pre-admissions checklist below so that you don’t forget anything or bring anything you’re not supposed to. There’s lots for you to do here, so don’t worry about staying engaged. But bringing a couple of good books or magazines is a good idea too, especially if you have a long trip to get here. As always, the Admissions Department is ready to answer your questions about anything at all. We can’t wait for you to begin your recovery with us.  Below you’ll find that pre-admissions checklist we talked about. We’ll you soon!
